Title: Camilla Edwards – Denver, CO – “Denver Central Library”

Description: I decided to make this quilt because the Denver Public Library is one of my favorite places to visit. I have always been an avid reader, and I spend a lot of time visiting the library. I used to spend a lot of money on books, until I realized that it was an expensive hobby. Then I started scouring garage sales for books, attended the Denver Public Library annual book drive, and swapped books with relatives and friends. When I learned I could reserve books online and pick them up at my community library, I rarely purchased a book of fiction. I even check out quilting books online. The Denver Central Library quilt is compiled of several different techniques that include machine quilting, crayons, and clip art.
