Description: I created this piece because I was attracted to a different culture and began to imagine a different life. I feel sad that our American culture is removed from the natural environment. This quilt was made while reflecting about living in harmony with nature and what is considered uncivilized, backward or third world. I think perhaps we were made to live more in tune with our environment.
