Description: Big Bands had programs on the radio. These included Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glen Miller, Tommy Dorsey, and Cab Calloway. Families gathered around the radio to listen and dance to the music. When vinyl records became available, music could be played anytime at home. Now people listen to music on cell phones or on YouTube whenever or wherever they are.
