Description: This quilt uses the log cabin block design but incorporates little houses in some of the blocks. The idea of including actual houses, not just the representation of log cabins, was appealing. After all, logs do become houses. My Great Grandfather’s home began as a log cabin. Many rooms were added, but the log portion remained the entry/great room of the house. Things ain’t what they used to be!
