Description: Some of us grew up in a very noisy world. Cars, buses, trains, and planes. Others, heavy farm equipment and the like. Twenty-four-hour news cycles, major media platforms and more noise. Suddenly, during the Covid pandemic, our world transitioned into "Silence.” Just about 2 years of such. What did we do? Lock down, isolate, and wait. Did we read more? What did we long for? Did we quilt more and finish those unfinished projects? I read books by Anne Lamott (1954-) and Elie Wiesel (1928-2016). This led to a renewed sense of self and spirit.
