Description: Faces are the subject of this small quilt. Faces play an important part in our lives and the lives of our parents and siblings, friends, and foes. What if we were blind and couldn’t recognize people by their looks but only by their voices. Would we not be able to detect skin color, age, size, or style? Do we judge people by their appearance or expression? A friendly face in very welcoming, and a happy smiling face is such a joy. An angry face is a little scary, and a sad face does not feel good. So young or old, our face is important to our relationships and those we encounter. How does your face reflect what you are feeling or going through? This quilt is drawn on a piece of muslin, using a pencil and crayons. It is embellished with machine stitches around the faces.
